roundabout・・・《形》回りくどい

グループリーダーに、飲みに誘われた。それもサシで。それも銀座で。私みたいな小娘と飲んでも別に楽しくないだろうと思いつつ、ノコノコついて行く。

Although He’s kind of out of favor with the subordinates， I think he’s nice. But his way is too roundabount and it causes some misunderstanding in my opinion.

銀座の串焼き屋さんで、2時間ほど話す。会社のこと、趣味のこと、旅行のこと、大学のこと。最近、歳の離れた人や違う世界の人と話すのが好きになってきた。

I’m going to send a mail to him tommorrow morning. Whatever they say， I’m going my way. I have to thank the enjoyable dinner.
